Builds upon a very successful series of 25 ECML and 18 PKDD conferences, which have been jointly organized for the past 14 years. The 2015 edition will host, for the first time, the Summer School on Data Sciences for Big Data. Will be held in Coimbra from September 8th to 15th.

Institute of Network Computing and Information. I am currently a 5th year PhD candidate at Institute of Network Computing and Information, Peking University. I will graduate in July, 2015. from Department of Computer Science, Peking University in 2010. I am broadly interested in information retrieval, machine learning, data mining and natural language processing as well as their practical applications.

The Symposium brings the latest research developments to young faculty members and graduate students in China, especially in the neighboring areas of Shanghai. In conjunction with the Symposium, we also offer a few tutorials on some of the most active research topics, including sparse representation, cloud computing, parallel and distributed optimization, and deep learning. There is no registration fee.
